Michael Cline serves as a Director at LW Hospitality Advisors®, where he has managed over 2,000 consulting and valuation assignments throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. His professional experience involves a wide range of hospitality assets, from short-term rental portfolios to large-scale luxury resorts. Michael is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI).

In addition to his valuation work, Michael supports the firm’s technical infrastructure. Having co-developed LWHA’s valuation model, he continues to manage the firm’s MySQL databases and performs regular updates using VBA to ensure the team’s proprietary tools remain efficient and data-driven.

Prior to joining the firm, he gained operational experience in a variety of hotels and resorts including Anchorage by the Sea, The Statler Hotel, and the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort. While working at the front desk at Anchorage by the Sea in Ogunquit, Maine, Michael interacted with all departments gaining extensive knowledge of hotel operations. Michael also acquired experience in food and beverage operations at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort.

Mr. Cline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He regularly guest lectures on hospitality and valuations for the Real Estate Finance Class at the University of New Hampshire (UNH).
