Michael Cline serves as Senior Vice President at LW Hospitality Advisors®. During his tenure at LWHA, Michael has executed or managed over 1,000 consulting and valuation assignments throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. His experience lies with all types of hospitality and lodging properties ranging from two-unit Airbnb’s to multi-thousand-room luxury resorts. Michael is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI).

In addition to valuation and consulting, Michael performs regular updates to LWHA’s proprietary valuation model. He also assists LWHA team members with regular technology related issues and determines forward-looking technology solutions for the LWHA team. In addition to co-building the initial LWHA model, Michael maintains the LWHA MySQL databases and performs regular updates utilizing VBA for Microsoft Office.

Prior to joining the firm, he gained operational experience in a variety of hotels and resorts including Anchorage by the Sea, The Statler Hotel, and the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort. While working at the front desk at Anchorage by the Sea in Ogunquit, Maine, Michael interacted with all departments gaining extensive knowledge of hotel operations. Michael also acquired experience in food and beverage operations at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort.

Mr. Cline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He regularly guest lectures on hospitality and valuations for the Real Estate Finance Class at the University of New Hampshire (UNH).
