Max Tappeiner is a hospitality veteran with more than 20 years of international experience spanning from small luxury boutique hotels to large-scale integrated Casino Resorts. He holds an MBA from the Royal University of Melbourne and brings a wealth of knowledge in hotel management and general property operations to his consulting work.

He has operated ultra-luxury resorts spanning from 75 to 400 rooms in key international business destinations including Berlin, London, New York, Washington D.C., and Las Vegas. This included 12 years with the luxury industry-leading Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

In 2015, Max took over the operation at The Venetian Resort with more than 7,000 Suites, the largest resort in the US. He led a team with 5,000 team members, 300 managers, 15 Directors, $400M in EBITDA+ and $150M in capital spend per annum.

In 2019, Max was selected to join Resorts World, Las Vegas, as Senior Vice President of Operations, the most expensive Casino project to ever be built on the world-famous Las Vegas strip. The project, with a price tag of $4.3B, spans over 88 acres and features 3,500 rooms, 40 restaurants, a 5,000-person theater, a day and nightclub, convention space, and an ultra-luxury spa. Max joined the project 2 years prior to opening and spearheaded the following divisions; Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, Nightlife, Hotel Operation, Facility Operation, Security, HR, and Entertainment. He played an integral role in planning the technology infrastructure and bringing leading-edge technologies to life.

Leading up to the opening, Max signed the largest multi-brand Hilton Franchise deal in the world and secured one of the most exciting entertainment deals with AEG to feature Katie Perry, Celine Dion, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood as resident artists. Additionally, Max negotiated the nightlife resident artist lineup to include Tiesto, ZEDD, and DJ Snake. Furthermore, Max worked with the Hooray Marketing agency to launch the brand campaign, film and air the commercial, stand up the website and booking engine. The Project opened successfully in June of 2021 on time and on budget despite significant setbacks due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Over the past 10 years, Max has held multiple board seats with various professional and charitable organizations including the Vegas Golden Knights, Forbes Travel Guide, Nevada Hotel and Lodging, and the Las Vegas Business Academy.

Max is also a successful Entrepreneur and owned/operated multiple businesses including a mobile vet care business, a healthy vending operation, and a hospitality/strategy consultancy service company. He excels at solving problems, building successful teams, driving a culture of high performance, and applying his business acumen to deliver upon aggressive goals.
