Matthew Baker currently serves as a Vice President with LW Hospitality Advisors® in Washington, D.C. While working primarily on valuations of hotel and resort properties, Matthew also has experience with executing numerous complex feasibility studies, market studies, litigation mandates, and brand to brand impact studies. During his tenure with LW Hospitality Advisors®, which has spanned nearly 10 years, Matthew has executed or consulted on appraisals, feasibility studies and market studies of over 400 hotels in over 20 states and Bermuda. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, licensed in five states and Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining LW Hospitality Advisors®, Matthew served as a Revenue Management Analyst Intern, working remotely for HotelAVE, and gained valuable food and beverage operations experience through rotational internships at Roaring Gap Club in Roaring Gap, North Carolina and Augusta Country Club in Augusta, Georgia.

Matthew obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).
