David Ran serves as Senior Analyst at LWHA Asset Management Group. During his tenure at LWHA Asset Management Group, David has been intimately involved in hotel asset management across various chain scales and property types, underwriting hotel acquisitions, carrying out operational reviews, and conducting market analyses. David’s asset management and consulting experience include both independent, boutique operations as well as major brands including Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Choice, and Four Seasons across 12 states in the contiguous United States. David first joined LWHA Asset Management Group as an intern before being promoted to a full-time analyst.

Prior to joining LWHA, David spent two years at Dream Hotel Group where he oversaw the Reservations Department for the Group’s flagship Dream Downtown and Dream Midtown Hotels. In addition to Dream Hotel Group, David also spent time at HeBS Digital (now NextGuest) and the Waldorf-Astoria New York where he gained valuable experience in hospitality sales and Events & Banquets functions.

David earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a Minor in Mathematics from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. He is also a graduate of New York University’s Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality’s Master’s Program where he served on the Board of the Hospitality & Tourism Society.
