Christopher Hutsen currently serves as Senior Associate for LW Hospitality Advisors®, based in Cleveland, OH. Mr. Hutsen is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser specializing exclusively in the evaluation of hotel, resort, and other hospitality related properties. He has conducted and assisted with numerous consulting and valuation assignments on a variety of hotel property types in markets throughout the United States.

Prior to his role with LW Hospitality Advisors, Christopher served in various operational roles in the Hospitality Industry. Most recently, he held the position of Interim General Manager and Resort Manager at Semiahmoo Resort, Golf and Spa; an independent 211-room destination resort with 36 holes of golf, a full-service spa, and three full-service restaurants. His operational management experience also includes brand-affiliated downtown convention and airport properties. He assisted in overseeing the Front Desk operation of the Doubletree by Hilton Seattle Airport, an 850-room airport property with 34,000 square feet of meeting space. In 2008, he was promoted to Assistant Front Office Manager after completing the Corporate Management Trainee program with Hyatt Hotels at the Grand Hyatt Seattle. He also assisted in opening the Hyatt at Olive 8 as a Housekeeping Manager, and was part of the opening task force team for the second tower of the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Christopher’s hospitality operational experience has provided him knowledge in all facets of a hotel operation.

Christopher holds a B.A. degree in Hospitality Business Management with a minor in Business Administration from Washington State University. He has also partially completed an MBA degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville. His volunteer experience includes serving on the Tourism Advisory Council for Blaine, WA, where he helped bring forward initiatives to the city council to further tourism development in the region. Additionally, he previously worked with a Seattle based non-profit coffee shop where he helped build an internship program that included resume and interview workshops, barista training and other life skill development for homeless youth.
